1. Introduction

Welcome to Mansa Transfers. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. Services are directed solely to persons 18 and over.

2. Services Provided

Mansa Transfers offers intra-African money transfer services, allowing users to send and receive funds across various African countries. Our services are accessible through our website and mobile application.

3. User Responsibilities

You must provide accurate and complete information when using our services.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful or prohibited activities.

4. Fees and Charges

Our fees are competitive and depend on the transaction amount, payment method, and countries involved. Senders who choose to receive funds through a payout method will be subject to additional fees as per the payout method. Certain countries and/or jurisdictions may impose a tax, fee, and/or tariff on the receiver’s receipt of, or access to, transferred funds. Transactions may be reported to applicable authorities. Messaging and notification services may be included for additional fees.

5. Transaction Limits

We may impose limits on the amount of money you can send or receive through our services. Any limits will be communicated to you at the time of the transaction.

6. Security

We prioritize the security of your transactions and personal information. We use advanced encryption and blockchain technology to protect your data.
You must not share your One-Time Password (OTP) or account details with anyone.
In order for us to set up strong customer authentication on your account, a PIN code will be sent to your mobile phone number or email upon completing your account sign-up through the platform. You will receive one message per authentication request. Message and data rates may apply. You confirm that you hold the account corresponding to the mobile phone number or email address you enter.

7. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, accessed in an unauthorized way, altered, or disclosed. We use reasonable physical and technical safeguards to protect your personal information during transmission and storage. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee absolute security. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers.

8. Identity and Location Verification

YOU AUTHORIZE MANSA TRANSFERS TO REQUEST YOUR MOBILE CARRIER TO USE YOUR MOBILE SUBSCRIBER DETAILS FOR VERIFYING YOUR IDENTITY. THESE DETAILS MAY INCLUDE NAME, BILLING ADDRESS, EMAIL, AND PHONE NUMBER. THIS INFORMATION MAY ALSO INCLUDE LOCATION INFORMATION, IF AVAILABLE.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

If a transaction fails and your account has been deducted, the amount will be refunded promptly.
Transactions cannot be canceled once they are processed to the recipient.
If the receiver’s information is inaccurate and the transaction cannot be processed, we will contact the sender and refund the transaction amount minus the fees.

10. Liability

Mansa Transfers is not liable for any losses or damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account or failure to comply with these We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by third-party service providers. Mansa Transfers shall not be liable for any failure or delay arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, pandemics, government actions, communication failures, third-party actions, or malicious code interfering with the service.

11. Use of Services

Mansa Transfers does not guarantee the delivery or suitability of goods or services paid for using the Services. Mansa Transfers is not an escrow service provider. Customers and receivers agree not to use the Services for escrow purposes.

12. Transaction Accuracy

Mansa Transfers relies on the information you provide to process transactions. Please review all transaction details carefully for accuracy before completing your transaction.

13. Marketing and Other Communications

We may use the contact details you provide to send marketing communications by email, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp, push notification, social media, or other formats regarding our Services. This may include news, promotional offers, competitions, prizes, and updates about our company and Services.

14. Resolution of Disputes

The parties agree to use their best efforts to resolve any dispute through consultation and good-faith negotiations with Mansa Transfers. If no resolution is reached within sixty (60) days, disputes shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration, unless otherwise opted out as permitted.

15. Limitations of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MANSA TRANSFERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES EXCEEDING ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS (USD 100), IN ADDITION TO REFUNDING THE TRANSFER AMOUNT AND TRANSFER FEES.

16. Intellectual Property

The Mansa Transfers website, Services, content, and all related intellectual property are owned by Mansa Transfers, its affiliates, or third parties. The website and Services may be used only for permitted purposes under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any part of the website or Services for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

17. Links to Other Sites

The website may contain links to third-party websites. These links do not imply endorsement or association with Mansa Transfers. We disclaim responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, or content of any linked sites.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will take effect once posted on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated
